Triton 11-2141C - May it live forever!

Monday, December 28th, 2009

The Triton Collection model 11-2141C is simply put - a beautiful, eye-catching tungsten ring from the Triton Collection of New York. It is inspired by the collection noted for its 30-step manufacturing process and lifetime warranty from the FACTORY - not the retailer! This particular beauty is an 8 mm, comfort fit, patented (TC.850) polished laser finish model that combines a beautiful blend of design and fashion!

We have seen in our studies that some retailers and online stores that sell cheap “knock offs” of the patented Tungsten brand of rings – many originating from China and elsewhere.  Most of these inferior brands might scratch, and lose their polish far easier due to inferior manufacturing processes.

Some people have to get used to the feel of a tungsten ring in that they are far heavier than even gold and silver, titanium and stainless steel. They are also far harder than any of these other substances and that is why they are known as the “man’s ring” - durable as they come!

Titanium Rings - Why so Popular?

Thursday, December 24th, 2009

Many reasons come to mind … first, they are durable! But until recently, the metal was too difficult to work into the detailed, intricate shapes with the detail necessary for fine men’s rings. But now, Titanium rings — including engagement rings and wedding bands — are one of the fastest, hottest, most in-demand sectors in fashion jewelry.

We found out that Titanium is similar to Tungsten when considering its unique combination of sheer beauty and durability but it is a far lighter substance than tungsten (more comparable to Aluminum in weight than to steel or a heavier metal).  is light weight an advantage? Many people want a light feel to their ring - not something that is so heavy as to be constantly aware that they are wearing something heavy on their finger. That is why these products are so hot and why they are given a run-for-the-money to Titanium rings.

Similarities? Like Tungsten, Titanium rings hold their shape and luster due to the nature of its extreme hardness – many say that titanium has the highest strength to weight ratio of any known element - but I could not verify that.

And if that is not enough - their are a few more characteristics that account for their popularity - they are also Cobalt free which is extremely important when considering potential allergic reactions. You will find that they do not rust and they are of course, due to its durability, scratch resistant.

A Tungsten Ring for the Most Discerning Buyer

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

A thousand dollar tungsten ring for men or women? Never heard of it. Well, you have now!

The Triton Collection model 11-2098P7C is a 7 mm, patented (TC.850) tungsten ring with Platinum inlay and beveled and polished edges – crafted using our finest Platinum inlay with Tungsten Carbide – scratch-proof and will last generations! Why platinum?

Platinum is a precious metal. Platinum is found in higher-end, usually as a 90-95% alloy, due to its inertness and shine. Watchmakers and ringmakers love the unique properties of platinum as it neither tarnishes nor wears out. The price of platinum, like other industrial commodities, is more volatile than that of gold. In 2008 the price of platinum ranged from $774 to $2,252 per oz. The price of platinum tends to be as much as twice the price of fine gold which is why making a ring with this commodity is a little pricing … but worth it!

One other note about this ring - it is a Triton Collection masterpiece; made with a 30-step, patented manufacturing process that cannot be duplicated. There are some retailers and online stores that sell cheap “knock offs” of the patented Tungsten brand of rings – many originating from China and overseas. Some of these inferior products will ding, scratch, and lose their luster more rapidly than the Triton brand.

As if all this were not enough, this gorgeous ring is covered by the factory for life! It comes with its own card that proves authenticity and guarantees against breakage. Go ahead - splurge!

A “Promotional” Ring that is truly PROMOTIONAL!

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

Promotional - kind of a worn our term these days isn’ it? Especially at this time of year - Thanksgiving and Christmas and other major holidays - they all seem to bring the word “promotional” out of the wood-work …

I just happened to see this word associated with a ring store that was online and something about it caught my attention. I am familiar with the Triton Collection of men’s rings having seen many and worn one as well. So when I saw the term “promotional” associated with Triton - I took a second look. I’m glad I did …

Here’s why - Triton is famous (sells rings all over the world) for their patented, 30-step manufacturing process - this is not the ordinary run-of-the-mill factory in china producing cheap knock-offs! They make beautiful eye-catching, fashionable and award-winning designs that will probably last 10 generations unless they get lost in the generation shuffle.

The particular one I saw was the Triton, Patented (TC.850), 21-2359C  Tungsten Carbide ring from the Triton Collection with Carbon Fiber inlay, .05 cwt Diamond, and a special Comfort Fit design (which means they are easier to come off your finger in the summer when our fingers swell. The promotion was for under $250.00 which is a GREAT PRICE! In fact, I have been a ring shopper and I have never seen a better value for this quality.

This ceramic ring just might make it to the top!

The BOSTONIAN is the one! A multi-faceted 7.5 mm black Ceramic ring crafted with a rich, distinctive style and this ring doesn’t come with the cheaper imitations using a process called “black vacuum plating” whereby the black color is plated on the ring. The color is all the way through this beauty in a rich, elegant, and designed for the true ring fashion lover.

Why ceramic? This new and hot fashion - Ceramic rings - happens to be one of the hottest fashions to hit the men’s rings industry in years. Black is in and the Bostonian leads the charge! As noted above, this beauty is made so that in the unlikely event it is scratched, you will not see the scratch because it is color-fast all the way through. Beware of cheaper imitations that sell for cheap prices are are not real ceramic but are only plated and colored on the outside to look like the real thing.

here a a few more reasons to choose ceramic:

* They are far lighter in than some the heavier tungsten rings and therefore feel better when worn all the time
* They are also scratch resistant - possible but unlikely
* And, they have an eye-catching, lustrous appeal
* They are also hypoallergenic

So try one on and see of you agree - this men’s ring just might make it to the top of the charts!

A Rich, Bold Look in the Men’s Fashion Ring Industry!

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

Just take a look!. It is striking and elegant and it bears a price tag that might be seen in a gold ring yet it is tungsten. Wow! These hot new fashions have taken the gloves off when competing for the upper-end categories of fashionable men’s rings!

The particular one I am speaking about is called the Triton Collection model 21-2130WC. Look it up online! You won’t be disappointed. It features an 8 mm, patented (TC.850) highly polished 18kt.White Gold look capped off with an exquisite array of 1/5 cwt diamonds. Truly a ring for the most discerning of buyers!

This is not a cheap “knock off” that many retailers carry of the patented Tungsten brand of rings – many originating from China and overseas. Inferior brands in many instances will ding, scratch, and lose their polish and luster rapidly because of poor manufacturing processes. However, the Triton Tungsten ring collection uses a patented 30-step manufacturing process that is covered by 7 patents - each ring coming with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer … not just the retailer.

When its time for you to consider your next venture into men’s rings … try one of the beauties on … eye-catching to the max!

The Triton 21-2223T Ring - Titanium Beauty!

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

The Triton Collection model 21-2223T is simply gorgeous. It is rather hard to describe in that it is so unlike the average wedding band. But here goes anyway … the centerpiece of this titanium ring is a set of diamonds in the middle that are 1/8 cwt. But here is what is so unique - they are tension set meaning that the ring design ends at the diamonds and that the diamonds are therefore suspended with only  the titanium band touching the outer edges of the diamonds! Absolutely amazing to look at! The ring is an 8 mm, comfort fit Titanium ring with a double Nitinol Cable inlay - truly eye-catching fashion from Triton - the leader in men’s ring designs and the winner of the JCK “Jewelers Choice Awards”.

Available in sizes 4 through 15.5 - this beauty can be a matching set for husband and wife! All Triton Collection models come with lifetime warranties and most outlets offer a 30-day trial where you can make sure it is the one you want and the right size as well.

This is a keeper!

Stainless Steel - Nothing to be ashamed of in a men’s ring

Monday, December 14th, 2009

Why stainless steel? Why not?

Some of the most dynamic and beautiful styles of men’s rings on the internet that I have seen are stainless steel - not gold, not ceramic, not tungsten!

Let’s take for example the Triton Collection model 21-2058S. It has a satin finish, it is made from Stainless Steel, it is made with a 14kt. Yellow Gold inlay and … it has e exquisite diamonds totally  1/8 ctw! Sound like a cheap stainless steel ring for under fifty bucks? I don’t think so! Sounds more like an elegant, sophisticated, timeless, fashionable ring that can be worn for ages and not loose its sohpistication.

Move over all you old gold wearers and new tungstenites … here comes the true man’s ring made from a lustrous, silvery finish complete with a diamond complement. So let’s go back to how we started this article - Why stainless steel … maybe we should be asking ourselves why not!

Triton 11-2128C - Arguably the most popular tungsten ring in America

Friday, December 11th, 2009

The Triton Collection model 11-2128C is a 7 mm, patented (TC.850) uniquely and beautifully polished laser engraved Tungsten ring with a comfort fit design and a strong following as shown by its sales numbers! This purely man’s ring is a fashionable yet rugged piece of jewelry to be enjoyed for generations. And best of all it is fashioned by one of the leading companies in the men’s ring world - the Triton Company out of New York. I have seen this ring sell as well online as it does in retail stores - the look sells - add to this fact that it is covered by the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty and you have a great value for this holiday season.

In my research, I have noted that there are many more cheaply made “knock offs” of the patented Tungsten brand of rings – many originating overseas … but that is to be expected. However, the more discerning buyers prefer the real thing with the real warranty and real 30-step patented finishing process. That is why we see so many Lexus and Mercedes Benz automobiles sold each year - quality!

The problem with inferior brands of rings is that in many instances they will start looking poor in just a matter of months - dings, scratchs, and loss of their luster and polish because of inferior manufacturing processes. So be careful and buy right the first time!

The Barcelona - an 8 mm Black Beauty Men’s Ring in Stainless Steel

Monday, December 7th, 2009

The BARCELONA from Men’s Ring Store is an 8 mm black Stainless Steel ring design with white crosses – unique, hot and in demand all over the country. Stainless Steel is becoming an ever-popular design these days, partly because the styles are non-corrosive, non-allergenic yet beautiful piece of jewelry. Named for its design flair and swarthy good-looks, your man will be delighted with this eye-catching, stylish and lustrous men’s ring.

So, if you are Christmas shopping, you might want to check out this fashion or a number of other fashions either online or at the local malls. Rings are a continual reminder of friendship and love and if you buy right, they come with lifetime warranties and some pretty amazing return policies.

Good luck with your shopping this special season and be wise - you can overpay for a simple ring in some of the expensive, glitsy mall stores that offer the same styles and features as online stores yet jack up their prices to pay for high rent and insurance!
