Here’s a little more about it: patented (TC.850) Tungsten Carbide rings are only made by Triton and this particular one has a true Carbon Fiber inlay, .05 cwt Diamond, and Comfort Fit design which makes the ring not just eye-catching but easy to wear and with the real diamond - it is a piece of work!  This model comes in a variety of sizes so that if you want a mens and womens (his and her) look, you’ve got it with this model.

Triton Tungsten Ring

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

The Triton Collection model 11-2098R7C is a new addition to Men’s Ring Store. Not only is this made with the highest quality materials, its a new design! Featuring 18kt. Red Gold inlay. This is not the plain gold rings with no color really, or the plain blah silver rings. This is simply one of the best styles available. Yes, this also has polished and brushed surfaces, so you are getting a large variety all in one. Not many people want something that is basically the same all the way around, this one is for sure not that. The ring I saw has a retail price of $1000 but is on sale for hundreds less. What a good deal!. When you buy from them you know you’re getting the highest quality available, not Chinese Jewelry that is sometimes not as nice.

On this site they have an entire section that talks just about the Triton Collecton - one of the premier jewelry brands in the world and features a 30-day return policy and lifetime warranty! What more could you want when buying one?

Would you wear a ring on your toe?

Monday, April 13th, 2009

Come on - a toe ring? I mean for a man? Would you consider wearing a ring on your toe? I don’t even care which toe - small, medium or large - even on your big toe? Could they possibly be comfortable? I mean really? Weren’t rings meant for fingers? For fidelity? For love and beauty? But on a toe?

I study and write about men’s rings - its part of my job during the day - that’s right - I do this for a living!

Go ahead ask me a question - I specialize in researching, writing about and analyzing men’s rings.

I can tell you about the latest styles like tungsten or titanium rings and the newest ones on the market ceramic rings. I can tell you why not to buy cheap rings and which stainless steel rings to shy away from and even why solid gold is a poor choice in a ring.

I guess we all have to feel like we specialize in something and men’s rings are where my head is. It also doesn’t hurt to have a family member who owns an online men’s ring store.

But still - on your toe? No way.

What’s the Fuss Over the Tungsten Carbide Ring Patent?

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

A few of the major jewelry manufacturers in the United States were recently sued because they were manufacturing Tungsten rings in violation of patent #TC-850. These manufacturers lost. They had to pay the patent holder considerable money to be allowed to still produce Tungsten Carbide rings. Other manufacturers may be infringing as well.

As I researched this topic I found that many large retailers (names you would certainly know) were also being sued for selling patent-infringing products.

One of only online location I have found to be legally selling these is Men’s Ring Store. They are licensed by the patent holder to sell on their site. I don’t know if they are the only online site selling legally, I only know that they advertise that they have chosen to abide by the patent and carry this collection as licensed by the owner.

Tungsten rings are cool - they look great, they have a msculine feel, they are virtually scratch-proof and most carry a lifetime warranty against breaking.
