Should I have my sweatheart pick out my ring?

Depends. Does she know what you like? How long have you known her? Would you feel comfortable picking out hers? Why or why not? Do YOU know what you want? Black? Gold? Diamond or CZ? Tungsten or stainless steel ring? Platinum? Comfort fit? Fancy designs? Plain? Inlaid? Bottom line - if you don’t care - let her do the work - you’ll be pleased with whatever she picks out!

I know a guy who is very particular. Knows exactly what he wants. It just so happens he wants a comfort fit titanium ring in that he is an avid golfer and loves his titanium clubs. He told me that if they are good enough to withstand his gold game, he wants a ring made out of the same stuff. Not a bad argument. What else does he want? He doesn’t really care - just so that it is made of this strong metal.

My advice to him. Tell his sweatheart about his feelings and then let her find the one she likes as long as it is made out of this metal. That way he is happy (or should be) and she feels included in the process. After all, she is 1/2 of this new relationship - she should feel included … don’t you think?
