The Triton Collection model 11-2048BT is a 6 mm, black titanium ring in comfort fit in a luxurious highly polished finish - we like to call it the “Black beauty”. The 11-2048BT is protected by a durable mar-resistant finish made of one of the world’s strongest metals - titanium. In case you have not heard of this metallic substance - many of the world’s leading golf clubs are made of titanium. Why? Because it is light weight and harder than rocks!
The reason you see so many fine men’s rings made of titanium is because when a substance is this lightweight, it can be fashioned into an elegant design easier than say gold or silver that cost so much. You can buy a ring like the 11-2048BT for under $200 at most online stores - you’ll pay more at your favorite retailer!
I have never seen a Triton ring that did not come with a lifetime warranty against imperfections and breakage! These are men’s rings that yo buy once and keep for a lifetime!
The Triton Collection model 21-2220T is a dynamic 8 mm, comfort fit Titanium ring that has a quadruple Nitinol Cable inlay design and a 1/12 cwt diamond combination surrounding the cable inlay, yet another of the wildly popular Triton brand of men’s rings.
Titanium is used in a variety of products including gold clubs and is at the forefront in the designer jewelry community; there are many reasons for this fact including fashion, freshness, price, durability, and style - and as mentioned above - a product not designed for sissies!
Titanium is far stronger and harder than gold or silver or stainless steel and doesn’t mar easily. Titanium is a lighter metal than Tungsten and allows for a lighter feel on the hand when worn. One other benefit is that they are also Cobalt free which means most people will not have any kind of allergic reactions. And if that were not enough - this beautiful ring will not corrode and is also scratch resistant and will never tarnish.
As mentioned above, because of titanium’s light weight, most rings are more durable and stronger than their counterparts in Silver, Gold and Platinum which increases their longevity and durability.
Try one on - they are definitely not for sissies!!!
Many reasons come to mind … first, they are durable! But until recently, the metal was too difficult to work into the detailed, intricate shapes with the detail necessary for fine men’s rings. But now, Titanium rings — including engagement rings and wedding bands — are one of the fastest, hottest, most in-demand sectors in fashion jewelry.
We found out that Titanium is similar to Tungsten when considering its unique combination of sheer beauty and durability but it is a far lighter substance than tungsten (more comparable to Aluminum in weight than to steel or a heavier metal). is light weight an advantage? Many people want a light feel to their ring - not something that is so heavy as to be constantly aware that they are wearing something heavy on their finger. That is why these products are so hot and why they are given a run-for-the-money to Titanium rings.
Similarities? Like Tungsten, Titanium rings hold their shape and luster due to the nature of its extreme hardness – many say that titanium has the highest strength to weight ratio of any known element - but I could not verify that.
And if that is not enough - their are a few more characteristics that account for their popularity - they are also Cobalt free which is extremely important when considering potential allergic reactions. You will find that they do not rust and they are of course, due to its durability, scratch resistant.
Just take a look!. It is striking and elegant and it bears a price tag that might be seen in a gold ring yet it is tungsten. Wow! These hot new fashions have taken the gloves off when competing for the upper-end categories of fashionable men’s rings!
The particular one I am speaking about is called the Triton Collection model 21-2130WC. Look it up online! You won’t be disappointed. It features an 8 mm, patented (TC.850) highly polished 18kt.White Gold look capped off with an exquisite array of 1/5 cwt diamonds. Truly a ring for the most discerning of buyers!
This is not a cheap “knock off” that many retailers carry of the patented Tungsten brand of rings – many originating from China and overseas. Inferior brands in many instances will ding, scratch, and lose their polish and luster rapidly because of poor manufacturing processes. However, the Triton Tungsten ring collection uses a patented 30-step manufacturing process that is covered by 7 patents - each ring coming with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer … not just the retailer.
When its time for you to consider your next venture into men’s rings … try one of the beauties on … eye-catching to the max!
Some of the most dynamic and beautiful styles of men’s rings on the internet that I have seen are stainless steel - not gold, not ceramic, not tungsten!
Let’s take for example the Triton Collection model 21-2058S. It has a satin finish, it is made from Stainless Steel, it is made with a 14kt. Yellow Gold inlay and … it has e exquisite diamonds totally 1/8 ctw! Sound like a cheap stainless steel ring for under fifty bucks? I don’t think so! Sounds more like an elegant, sophisticated, timeless, fashionable ring that can be worn for ages and not loose its sohpistication.
Move over all you old gold wearers and new tungstenites … here comes the true man’s ring made from a lustrous, silvery finish complete with a diamond complement. So let’s go back to how we started this article - Why stainless steel … maybe we should be asking ourselves why not!

Have you ever used a golf club made from titanium - have you considered why they make a club out of this material - it is because it is virtually indestructible - there is no way that a person is going to break the club under normal wear and tear - that is why they make fashionable rings from this material as well - they are truly designed to last a lifetime!!
The short answer - nothing. I’ve been studying mens rings for over a year now and I find something very interesting in this search. All mens rings that I have seen - whether they are tungsten mens rings, ceramic rings or solid gold - can be worn on any finger on either hand therefore they can be used to indicate marriage or friendship or just for plain eye-catching good looks!
Not so for a womans ring. They can be purchased in the same fine materials as mentioned above - but they have distinct looks and purposes for most womens rings. They have engagement rings that are meant specifically for the left hand with ornate complimentary fashions as wedding rings. You rarely see a woman wear one of these special ring combinations on her right hand. Usually when I see a woman doing so - wearing a wedding ring combination on her right hand - it indicates that she has been married but not now. Typically it is a symbol of love and remembrance for a lost loved one.
Back to men for a moment … does a particular stone or style of ring mean marriage versus just fashion? The answer is again no - they can be worn at anytime on any finger for any purpose. As a ring connoisseur, I might just try and change this fashion culture by ordering a certain style of mens ring that should be worn just on the left hand and just on the third or ring finger and that mean marriage - lawful and legal marriage. Do you think I can pulls this off? Let me know your thoughts …
Have you ever wondered about this idea - how valid and real are the promotions you see for mens rings? I was searching for one the other day and came across an online site that had a category for promotional mens rings. I spent some time looking through it and I was amazed at the discounts and variety I saw. I think I will list a few examples so that you can see what I mean by a legitimate ring promotion - whether it is in a store on for an online seller.
The first one I came across was from the Triton Ring Collection - it was labeled the Triton 21-2359C. It was 50% off their regular price and had a real diamond at .05 cwt and had carbon fiber inlay. The ring was patented for quality and had the neat feature referred to as comfort fit which I really like.
The next was a beautiful gold-plated tungsten ring with a comfort fit and it was discounted to $129 from $289. I loved it - in fact this might be one of my next rings.
I’ll conclude with another beauty from their promotional site called the T-7. It was also gold (matches my only other piece of jewelry - my watch) and was discounted to $99 from $149. All in all a person could find the ring they wanted on this site with prices that were very, very promotionally minded. Check them out - give me call for any questions. Thanks.
You’ve heard of “cash for clunkers” - the government program where you can trade in your old car as long as it meets “gas guzzling” standards and receive $4,500 on a variety of greener cars from virtually all manufacturers - foreign and domestic. Not a bad idea really when you look at not only the economic impact but also from the viewpoint of getting the older, non-green oil-burning clunkers off the road and replacing them with newer, fresher models that will certainly emit fewer resins into the planet’s atmosphere! Well, have you heard of cash for clunker men’s rings? No? Maybe that’s because I have not either and I don’t think a program like that exists. But that’s about to change …
My proposal goes something like this: you have an old, scratched, gold or silver wedding band that might be worth the amount of gold or silver in the ring - nothing more. What if a retailer or an online seller offered you cash for your clunker? Let’s say for arguments sake that you could take 25% off the sale price of the tungsten ring if you traded in your clunker? Would you do it? I would in a new York heart beat.
The only problem I see is that maybe someone feels some kind of sentimental attachment to the old clunker. Well, that’s OK - keep it and forfeit the 25% - nothing gained, nothing lost. I have seen the newer varieties of rings these days - the new black ceramic rings are spectacular and you can buy them online for under $100 almost anywhere. In retail stores they might be more because they have such high overheads.
In any event, send me a blog and give me your thoughts - I know a guy who owns an online store and I might just talk him into this program. Thanks.
