Ceramic Rings on SALE!

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

It’s a sale like I have never seen on high quality, lustrous, fashionable men’s rings with all varieties of finishes and styles and stones and designs!

Ceramic rings for less than $50! Titanium rings for $60 and tungsten rings for under $75! Wow! they are in stock and ready for free, immediate shipping!

These types of price promotions come along only once or twice a year and they are here now - big time! I was so excited I was tempted to buy a bunch for my friends as well …

I’m not talking poor quality with scratches and stones that will fall out and products that will wear and tear and break. These are top of the line, lifetime warranties with full 30-day trial periods! That’s right - wear it for 30 days and if its the wrong size or the wrong color or the wrong whatever - return it for another ring of your choice or for a full refund! What do you have to lose?

The ones I saw had CZ’s or real diamonds, they had gold plating or solid 18k gold, they were inlaid with platinum or just plain banded. They were polished, beveled, most had the new “comfort fit” design and they all came with free shipping and ring box as well!

My favorite site was mensringstore.com because they also had a unique new collection of really fashionable high end rings all heavily discounted and if you bought one, you received another one from a different collection for FREE. I read very carefully - there are no strings attached - you simply buy one and at check out the second ring you picked out is simply FREE. Again, lifetime warranty and free 30-day wear and return policy. They also advertised that they beat all prices on all rings anywhere! So, it just might pay to log on and use PayPal or any major credit card for the sale of the century - well at least the summer! Come on - you deserve it!

I am so tired of overpaying for most products that I buy - so I forget the high prices at the malls and try to find what I need online - faster, cheaper and I spend a whole lot less on gas! So, if you are in the market for a mens ring - you might try what I did and see if you can save a few hundred bucks and lot’s of time as well. Good luck and tell them Johnny sent you!

Why all the hype about the hot, new men’s rings fashions?

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

You’ve all seen it. Banners, promotions, ad slicks, online advertisements, even in store promotions for the newest in men’s rings fashions - tungsten rings, ceramic rings and titanium rings. Why? One reason is that older men who no longer are in the market - particularly wedding rings - are now not the main stream buyer. Main stream buyers are 19-35 years of age and the styles today are far different than they were say 50 years ago.

The rings we mentioned above were not even available for sale back then, some of the metals were not even being used for ring manufacturing. You had gold and silver. Period. Pick one and be happy. Let’s face it you didn’t even have the internet to shop online for comparison purposes. new styles would come out and you wouldn’t even know about it for a year or more. That’s all changed.

Today, in a global marketplace where rings can be purchased from China and elsewhere with immediate shipping, goods flow into all countries very rapidly and these new styles have taken the market by storm. They are hot not just because they are available today and they weren’t 50 years ago - they are hot because they have earned the right to be hot. How?

They are durable and clean looking - they come with lifetime warranties against even scratching. Imagine that - a warranty against scratching - have you ever seen that with your gold one? I’d say not.

Bottom line - they are less expesnive becuae of global marketpalce shipping, they are good looking and eye-catching, they have long, long warranties and they are the most durable rings available on the planet. So that’s the answer to the question - they are hot for a reason and the more they sell - the hotter they become!

The Triton Men’s Ring Advantage

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

Triton. A solid name, a solid warranty, a solid reputation. Triton makes a wide variety or men’s rings from Stainless Steel to Titanium to Tungsten. The Triton warranty includes lifetime ring size exchange as Tungsten Rings cannot be re-sized due to their extreme hardness!

The Triton tungsten carbide rings are made of TC.850, the patented formulation of the world’s hardest substance. This formulation creates a scratch resistant, forever polished luster. Their special micro-grain structure insures that each ring has the strength and hardness of 8.5 on the Mohs Scales of Hardness as compared to a factor of 10 for a diamond.

Actual Triton rings are covered under the following patents: 6062045, 6553667, 6990736, 6928734, 6993842, 7032314 and 7076972.

These rings are 10 times harder than 18k gold. This patented manufacturing phenomenon is created in a sintering process by firing tungsten combined with carbon powder at 6,200 degrees fahrenheit. They are also hypoallergenic, typically in a deep gray color, are scratch resistant and are valued at 1280 on the Vickers Hardness scale.

Perfect for the man who is looking for a rugged, durable yet fashionable look in today’s jewelry industry.

Quite Possibly the Best Men’s ring on the Planet

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

You may have seen claims like this before - the best car, the best home, the best washing machine, the best computer … you name it the term “best” has been applied to just about every product in the world … or in this case on the planet! Have you ever wondered what best really means? Is it relative? If so, relative to what - other products in its class? Relative to the price? Relative to the type of material or construction or even relative to the amount of service that is expected with that product?

The best men’s ring. What does THIS really mean? I’ll give you a few thoughts as to why I have made this claim. The best ring would be one that has many if not all of the following characteristics: price to value is excellent, lifetime warranty that is written and legitimate, a 30-day return policy just in case it’s NOT the best ring, durable and scratch resistant, lustrous and fashionable, been on the market long enough to prove it’s not just a fad design, in high demand, involves exacting quality control measures that are adhered to with each ring, available in men’s and women’s matching styles and sizes, features a “comfort fit” design, cannot fade or mar, maintains its value year after year. There may be more but let’s stick with these for now.

I have found only one ring that matches all of these criteria: Triton Collection Tungsten Rings from mensringstore.com. Every characteristic I mentioned, these rings have it in spades. They are also exquisitely crafted and shipped with a warranty card (from the manufacturer)!

So look around and see if you agree with this rather bold statement - I think you will end up agreeing with me …

What does rock climbing have to do with mens rings?

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

Very little … or so I thought. Two of my three sons are avid rock climbers. One even has a rock climbing web site called rockonholds.com where he sells rock climbing stuff like climbing holds. They love to get together and share a morning or an afternoon on the rocks. Gyms, outdoors, high, low, you name it - they love it. They have taught me enough about the sport for me to be dangerous; in fact the first time they took me with them I had what they called “Elvis Presley legs” (a condition where the legs get so tired and stressed and tensed that they start shaking uncontrollably!) Embarrassing! Vowed to get better or never go again. I don’t think I have been rock climbing since although I love to climb on mountains and small hills - I just can’t get into the straight up stuff where you needs ropes and rope handlers and pads on the ground and little hooks that snap together with metal clips and stuff…

Well, one of these boys is also into selling men’s rings. Tungsten rings, ceramic rings - you name it he has it. All sizes and shapes and colors and stones (diamonds and CZ’s). I can’t figure out if he likes rings because he likes to rock climb - you know kind of a guy’s thing - or because he just likes to build web sites and sell things. But somehow these two things are related at least at my home.

Word to the wise - I would recommend you go out and buy a beautiful style of ring before you go out and buy all the rock climbing gear - dangerous to be climbing all over tall rocks unless you are Super Man and you never know how your legs are going to respond!!!

Titanium rings versus titanium golf clubs: your pick!

Monday, July 13th, 2009

I first heard of titanium when I was studying airplane design and manufacturing in a physics class in college. There are many applications of this metal, one being in the manufacture of aircraft wings. One of the reason sis that titanium as a metal is extremely hard yet lightweight. Perfect for a wing on a plane! But there are a host of other uses.

Have you ever seen golf clubs made of titanium? Well they are. they use this durable material to plate the woods in many of the finer clubs. I don’t know if Tiger Woods (the number one golfer in the world) uses titanium clubs but for guys like me, they are plentiful and not too expensive.

I have also noticed that some of the finer jewelry stores sell titanium rings as well as gold and silver and tungsten rings. Can you imagine wearing a men’s ring made of titanium? Why use this material? Because it is, as stated above, very hard and durable, yet lightweight. I don’t know about you but I hate to wear heavy jewelry on my hand or fingers so this type is perfect.

I checked online at mensringstore.com. They offer a lifetime warranty on each of their many styles and a 30-day return policy and have great prices - discounted up to 57% off retail. So if youre looking for one of these, you might want to check them out!

Remember you can’t take it with you (except your titanium ring)

Monday, July 13th, 2009

We have all heard many variations of the theme - he who dies with the most toys wins. Or, enjoy it now because you can’t take it with you. Or, I’m spending my grand children’s inheritance. Whatever your favorite, they all mean about the same thing, when your life is over, your belongings stay behind. I realize the idea of memories and love and all of those things are debatable but I’m referring to worldly possessions. I’ll get into the debatable “emotional and intellectual takeaways” at the end of this piece.

I have been to many, many funerals. I have noticed something that caused me to think about this notion of not taking anything with us. Have you noticed that when the guy is in his coffin, he typically still has his men’s ring on his finger? No watch, no pen, no will by his side, no car, no house, no nothing … just a titanium ring on his finger. Now I realize they are not all titanium, some are ceramic or gold or even tungsten rings. But the point is the same. They have died and they do take one thing with them … a ring.

Of course this is a mere symbolic “taking”. What they are really taking is the love and the memories and the experiences that are all wrapped around this little piece of jewelry. But, isn’t it interesting that we wear this to the grave … whether it is real or imagined … we still try to take with us those things that matter most, that have been cloest to us and these are sybolized by a simple band on the finger. It might pay to think of this the next time we are tempted to act in a disloyal way agasint those we love.

Is a men’s ring the PERFECT gift?

Monday, July 13th, 2009

What is the perfect gift for a man? Any ideas? How about a new car? Too expensive. How about new china? Yeah, right. New shirt or pants? Boring. Sock or tie? I said BORING! Golf clubs? Now we’re getting closer … Gift certificate? Too impersonal. Watch? Nice but most men already have one they like. OK, OK, how about a men’s ring? Arguably the right one … maybe even the perfect gift!

How does one go about finding the right one for the guy you’re trying to please? You might start by looking into the latest, hottest fashions. No, not gold and silver … those are so yesterday! I’m talking about tungsten rings, titanium rings and ceramic rings. Why? Because for a person to find the perfect men’s gift, it needs to be fashionable and desirable, long-lasting and a great value (not too expensive), easy to exchange if needed, and something that has a long, dependable warranty. And, of course, something that can be bought either at a retail store or online.

Enter the fashion world of rings - not just wedding bands - but all different styles and fashions to be worn on any finger of the hand. They typically embody all of the criteria mentioned above including durability, luster and lifetime warranties.

I think we found it - the perfect men’s gift staring right at us!

Ninety-nine men’s rings and counting …

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

How many men’s rings do you own? One? Two? Three? Who would possibly need any more than a couple? One for the wedding ring finger and one for possible the right hand - right? Right. So who and why would anyone own more than the standard 2-3? I’ll tell you who …

Enter Max Dudley from Chicago, IL. Ninety-nine. Well, that was last count … it might be over 100 now. No way you say. Yes way I say. You name it he owns it from gold to silver to tungsten rings to ceramic rings. Why? Why would a grown man, married with 4 children own that many? Well, here’s the scoop:

Many years ago Max was left alone by his parents, abandoned. He never saw them again. He was 14 years old. He was insecure and lacked the confidence to even look an adult in the eyes. That all changed when he met Florence and Maxmilian Dudley. They adopted Max and he adopted their name. This time it was forever. They were happily married … he could tell the way they looked at each other and the way his dad treated his mom. He loved his dad’s ring. He wanted one just like it someday and that day came soon enough. Max was married and his parents were killed in a car accident. He started collecting men’s rings - and now has a collection of somewhere around a hundred.

They remind him of his dad. They remind him of happy marriages. They are meaningful to him. Once I heard “the rest of the story” as Paul Harvey used to say … I stopped judging and started accepting. Go for it Max - you deserve it. No more judging from me!

Bling and the men’s ring

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

What is bling? How does one define it? To me it is a far out approach to fashion, unbalanced, extreme, way too much sizzle and pop, not enough quality, uncontrolled variety in an enormous mess of eye-catching goo. Not too many positive adjectives in that last statement … I guess my sentiments are showing but I think bling is catty and unrefined and uncouth and anything but fashionable and clever. I think it speaks of poor education, poor self-esteem and poor taste all wrapped together in an awful tasteless conglomerate called jewelry. Wow … need I say more?

So, what is the opposite? Taste. Refined. Subtle. Balanced. Lovely. Consistent. Quality. Acceptable. Acceptable. Flowing. Graceful. Educated.

Examples? More than one men’s ring on a hand is approaching bling. period. Live with it - it just is. Well - what kind of ring or rings can a person wear and not be a blinger? Great question. In my opinion, any of the newer, more hip and fashionable styles on the market today work - I’m talking about tungsten rings, ceramic rings and a host of those newer, lustrous and acceptable men’s styles that appear online and in retail stores throughout the country.

If you need to take a drive - or a walk through the internet - you can check out the latest fashions at a host of quality stores. Most of the reputable ones have a lifetime warranty and at least a 30-day return policy!!
