Is it proper to own more than one men’s wedding ring?

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

Have you ever thought about this question? Or, has anyone asked you how many men’s wedding rings you own? Does it really matter? Has your spouse ever talked with you about this question? What is proper? What is acceptable? What is practical? What is necessary? What is needed? Ask 10 people, get 10 different answers … go ahead and try it. Some will start out with it depends … others will say firmly it doesn’t matter. Still others will offer - one - why would anyone need more? And of course there are those who say everyone is different and beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder … well you get the routine!

Let’s start with custom, tradition, protocol. Fifty years ago - more than one wedding ring would be overkill, unnecessary and even labled as wrong. One ring - one marriage - one covenant - one woman. To own more would be saying that the first men’s ring was somehow insufficient or lacking in some degree and then of course the question - who buys the second one? The woman? The man? Get’s complicated …

But in today’s freer thinking and more liberal society - is more better? Maybe. Many men in today’s society work outside but also have a large portion of their life devoted to indoor activities - in the professional, cultural and societal elements. As such, they might want one ring to wear outdoors and another (one that is not scratched or worn) for wearing indoors. And what about style - might there be one that matches their watch or cuff-links better than another. How about one that matches their spouses dress, purse, hat, etc. better than another?

It is this man’s opinion that the days of one ring for the man are over. In fact my favorite is a titanium ring with nitinol cable inlay but I wear a gold or stainless steel often during the workday … what are your thoughts? I would love to hear from you.

Hottest locations in America to sell a tungsten ring

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

Let me go search the searches that are done in different states. Looks like Utah is first for the most amount of volume. Mainly because of all the colleges. Then it goes to Hawaii, then Oklahoma, Colorado, Oregon e.t.c. Utah looks like the volume is 3 times as much though. That seems very surprising. So those are some popular locations for a tungsten ring. But what about wedding rings, those would have different locations on where they are most popular. The reason why I think Utah has so many searches, is because I have researched other companies, and lot’s of them seem to be 801 numbers. That is the area code for Utah. Overall, men’s rings are a hot item all over the United States. Depending on where and what you are looking for, you are going to be finding different things for sale, more popular in different areas than others.
